Safety Focus
- Please remember that students need to show their Rye Neck Student IDs upon entry to the building.
- Getting to and from school:
- For biking and walking: Cross at crosswalks, with crossing guards, ESPECIALLY where Hornidge Road intersects w/Boston Post! Lots of traffic!!
- For bikers specifically: please be aware--and courteous to--pedestrians on sidewalks!
- For drivers: The speed limit on campus is 10 MPH!!
- NYS has enacted a new law that requires schools to give communities warning about when SAFETY DRILLS will be happening. This is being done in an effort to mitigate potential anxiety for learners, parents and caregivers. Though schools may not release the exact time and/or nature of the drill, they can give a window of time for the drill. Such announcements will be made here, and our first announcement is: There will be a SAFETY DRILL next week.
