What a fantastic first week of school! This past week has been packed full of learning new routines and procedures and getting back into the swing of school! By this time your students schedules should be settled and we will be jumping into curriculum on Monday (most classes have already done so...).

Please make sure that your students have shared all forms with you and that you have signed and returned everything that we asked for.

This upcoming week we will begin our WIN (Intervention) time with our students. Students will be working on Math, Reading, Science, and Social Studies Intervention during this time.

The Staff at HJH has worked to create a student culture goal and action plan for the upcoming school year. It is with joy that I present them below:

Student Culture Goal 22-23

The students at Hamilton Junior High School will maintain positive behavioral expectations throughout the school day and will commit to treating fellow students with dignity and respect regardless of differences between them.

Student Action Statement:

Students will actively engage in daily lessons designed around building positive behaviors and character traits. Students will continue to show their willingness to learn from their teachers while they learn how to manage social relationships with each other. The staff will continuously engage students by utilizing our tools, such as Capturing Kids Hearts and positive relationship building, to make their daily experiences on campus focused on learning and maintaining appropriate relationships.

Quick Notes:

Due to safety concerns, parents will not be allowed to access the building during instructional time or directly after school. Please stop in with the front office and we will assist you with what you need!
