Welcome to the 2024-25 school year! We’re excited to start another school year in a few weeks!!

1. Teacher requests were April 2-12th, 2024 and were taken into consideration when assigning teachers. We are currently not taking any requests to change teacher assignments for the fall.

2. Teacher assignments for all students are in ParentVUE TODAY

We’re excited to host Open House this year! A few details for families

• Families need to sign up for a time to meet their teacher. Use this LINK to sign up. Sign up ends Tues, Aug 27th at 9pm

• There will be two families per 10 min time slot to meet your teacher this year:

• **If you have more than one student in the building, use the “register for multiple conferences” option.

• There are 2 required tasks while at Open House:

#1: meet with your teacher at the assigned time, pick up your curbside tag and verify family contact and emergency information

#2: go get your picture taken in the gym

Josten’s is our vendor again this year. See the info below for picture information.

• Please make sure you are on time and keep within your scheduled time slot.

• After you’ve met with your teacher, picked up your curbside tag AND completed pictures, the building is open. Remember to stop in and see the specialists:

• Mr D and Mr Swanson will be in the gym, Mrs Grue will be in the music room, Mrs Luger will be in the art room. Stop by and say HI to them!

• Book fair in the media center

• Stop in the cafeteria to connect with the community organizations that are at school offering opportunities for our students.

At Chisago Lakes School District, we utilize SchoolMessenger in order to get our important messages out to our families.

In addition to emails and phone calls, this year we will utilize the texting feature for school delays/closings, transportation (late buses), and other emergency situations.

Please note, the phone number you opt in with must match the phone number on your ParentVue account. Log into your ParentVue account to double check your phone number used or to make changes.

If you have medication and doctor orders to drop off in our health office or if your student has a health condition we need to be aware of, we are asking parents to sign up for a specific time to coincide with your Open House time. Use this LINK to sign up for a time with Amy Larson.
