The Board of Education provides a "Board Meeting Summary" after each Board meeting. The summary includes a brief description of the main topics and action items. These summaries are not meant to replace minutes. The minutes for each meeting are approved and posted after the next regularly scheduled meeting. We hope these summaries provide some basic information and context around the reports, presentations and action items. Donation from the Illinois Association of School Business Officials | watch

In honor of Assistant Superintendent for Finance, Facilities and Operations Eric DePorter’s dedication and seven years of service on the Board and as President of IASBO, IASBO representatives presented Mr. DePorter with a donation. Mr. DePorter announced that he will be donating half to the D41 Kids Foundation and the other half to the Glen Ellyn Children’s Resource Center.

Assistant Superintendent for Teaching, Learning and Accountability Dr. Kris Webster presented MAP assessment data. She shared that District 41 students are strong in reading and math for both achievement and growth. She highlighted takeaways and next steps moving forward. For more information, click here.

Board members engaged in conversation with Mr. DePorter. Board members asked questions about how much it would cost the district to absorb the increase for families who qualify for reduced lunch and breakfast.
