For the entire month of November, we will be highlighting the imporatnce of sleep for our students. We encourage you to mark your calendars for our Parent Workshop on Thursday 11/14 at 5:00pm with the Author of "The Sleep Deprived Teen", Lisa Lewis. See below for more information.

LAST CALL! If you haven't registered yet for Dino Dash, we hope you will consider registering and selecting Legacy as your school. We are extremely proud of the fact that we have held the title for highest participating secondary school since the year we opened, and we have no plans of letting that trophy go! You can register for the 2K, 5K, 10K, Bike Race, or even purchase a Runnership (a sponsorship for a student in need), ALL of these count towards our registration, and $10 from EACH goes directly back to Legacy. See below for info to register. Thank you for your support!

Additionally, we have become aware of social media accounts that are being used to post hurtful comments about students, which undermines the supportive environment we strive to maintain at our school. We urge all students to refrain from accepting requests from unfamiliar accounts and to report any inappropriate content through the appropriate social media channels. Additionally, students are encouraged to report this information to the school. Our school is committed to fostering a community built on positive interactions. It’s important to understand that digital footprints last forever and posting inappropriate content can have serious long-term consequences. We encourage you to take time this weekend to discuss the importance of online responsibility and safety with your student. Thank you, as always, for your ongoing support.

Business Improv students offered a skills workshop to sixth grade students earlier this week. They worked in teams to design lessons in collaboration, leadership, and confidence building. The 6th graders had the opportunity to receive feedback and offer feedback throughout the activities. Everyone did a great job demonstrating RISE and reflecting on our grows and glows. Thank you to all who participated. We can't wait to host another in the near future!

Can we tell you a secret? Get ready for a play like you’ve never seen from Legacy Productions! This fun sci-fi thriller will keep you guessing and wondering what will happen next! Some elements of this show may be scary for younger audiences.

To BOTH those who already signed up and those who wish to-- please send in forms and sign up by Sunday evening, November 3rd at 11:59 PST!! For those of you who want to learn different aspects on how to effectively promote and grow a community around a passion project, spaces are available but limited!!

This week was Red Ribbon Week! We loved seeing your TIDE Pride and your commitment to live a drug free life!

Trunk or Treat was on Wednesday! Clubs had BOOtiful booths set up with activities, games, and free candy. We hope you had a spooktacular time, mark your calendars for next year!

We had an amazing Halloween Costume Contest fashion show during lunch, featuring fun and creative ideas! Shout out to The Baby N’ Black group, Beetlejuice, SpongeBob group, the Tank, and Zombie Cheerleader for winning!

It's time to catch those Z’s because the Legacy Sleep Campaign is coming up this month! Look forward to sleep-based seminars, activities, and Friday Pajama Days!

The National Donut Day basketball game lunchtime activity will be on Tuesday, 11/5! The winners receive Dunkin Donuts! Get it? DUNKin!

Come support our fall athletes on November 8th in a volleyball tournament!

It will take place during lunch on the basketball courts.

Seniors! Are you tired of parking in the sun alongside sophomores and juniors? Enter in the drawing to win a shaded parking spot! A new winner will be drawn each month, and your purchases will continue to roll over! Purchase as many tickets as you’d like!

Bring all your extra Halloween candy to your 3rd-period class to donate to Treats for Troops through the Waves of Impact club! The 3rd period with the most donations will win a popsicle party! And all donations will go to Soldiers’ Angels!

Next Monday is our first TIDEpool Tutoring session. This is a time for Middle School students to receive help from their High School mentors. It will take place in Mr. Maduenos' room every Monday during point break.
