The Glover Gab 2025
January 10th, 2025
We wish everyone an amazing 2025
Thank you for all of your support and for trusting us with your children. We truly embrace the opportunity each and every day to help you and support you in raising your children.
Temps and Recess
Please dress the students warm to school. Our intention is always to give the students an opportunity to go outside. This week was an exception. I will not send the students/teachers outside if there is a risk of frostbite or the yard is completely frozen.
Driving and walking on campus
Please be aware of your surroundings and if you drive, please use the car line as it is designed. We understand these months tend to be cold so extra caution will be appreciated. The safety of everyone is of utmost importance. The students will be allowed to use the lobby on extremely cold mornings. We thank you for working with us and making the morning transition so seamless.
New Staff
Please welcome Kim Carpenter to the Glover Community. Kim will be our Adjustment Counselor working primarily with our 2nd and 3rd grade learners. Kim has extensive experience working with students from all grade levels. She was most recently the adjustment counselor at Marblehead High.
Please welcome Meg Burrow to the Glover Community as our Inclusion Teacher. Meghan is originally from Kansas, though she has lived all over the US during her time working in the restaurant industry. Most recently, Meghan was living in Somerville and has taught in Cambridge, Somerville, and Belmont. When she is not teaching, Meghan loves to cook, run, practice yoga, workout, read, and spend time outside with her pups and boyfriend.

Students "in Action" Zone
Our students have grown so much since September. We are excited to see all the amazing growth in 2025. They have been working hard with our new curriculum " WayFinder", as well as Wit and Wisdom. The students have been working on measurements, motor skills, differentiating sounds, and most importantly working with one another, and learning how to develop good, quality friendships.
