My name is Eidarlenne Carrasco. I am happy to be back as PTA president again this year. Winnetka was my elementary school, and now my son Pedro also gets to be part of the Winnetka family. I went to Mountain View College and received my associate’s in Science and then went on to dental assisting and hygiene school and became a dental hygienist. I have been in the dental field over 13 years. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and volunteering. In addition to this bio, I want to thank the staff, the parents, and the kiddos for helping us make last year a success. I hope we will make this year better than the previous one.
Mi nombre es Eidarlenne Carrasco. Estoy feliz de volver a ser presidente de PTA este año. Winnetka fue mi escuela primaria, y ahora mi hijo Pedro también llega a ser parte de la familia de Winnetka. Fui a Mountain View College y obtuve mi título de asociado en Ciencias y luego fui a la escuela de higiene y asistencia dental y me convertí en higienista dental. He estado en el campo dental durante 13 años. Cuando no estoy trabajando, disfruto pasar tiempo con mi familia, viajar y ser voluntaria. Además de esta biografía, quiero agradecer al personal, los padres, y los niños por ayudarnos a que el año pasado fuera un éxito. Espero que este año sea mejor que el anterior.
My name is Consuelo Valdez (Connie). This is my 2nd year coming back to PTA. I have 4 children 2 of them come to Winnetka. I own my small business and love volunteering and helping whenever I can. I was born in Tamaulipas, Mexico. Came to the USA when I was 3 years old and I was raised in Dallas, Texas. I went to school and got my license to be a cosmetologist, cosmetologist instructor, and health assistant. In my spare time I love to go shopping, dance, and be crafty. I look forward to serving our Winnetka family once again and open the doors to great opportunities for our families at Winnetka Elementary.
Mi nombre es Consuelo Valdez (Connie). Este es mi Segundo año de regreso a PTA. Tengo 4 hijos, 2 de ellos vienen a Winnetka. Soy dueña de mi pequeño negocio y me encanta ser voluntaria y ayudar siempre que puedo. Nací en Tamaulipas, MX. Vine a los EE. UU. cuando tenía 3 años y me crie en Dallas, TX. Fui a la escuela y obtuve mi licencia para ser cosmetóloga, instructora de cosmetóloga y asistente de salud. En mi tiempo libre me encanta ir de compras, bailar, y ser astuta. Espero poder servir a nuestra familia de Winnetka una vez más y abrir las puertas a grandes oportunidades para nuestras familias en Winnetka.
My name is Martha Velez. I am your PTA Treasurer. We became proud members of the Winnetka community in the Fall of 2021.
My son who is now a 5th grader and my daughter who is a first grader immediately fell in love with the Winnetka staff and students.
I was an educator for 16 years before leaving to help start our family company. However, by serving on our amazing PTA, I can continue to help serve. I look forward to what is to come for our 2022-2023 school year.
Mi nombre es Martha Vélez. Soy su Tesorera de la PTA. Nos convertimos en orgullosos miembros de la comunidad Winnetka en el otoño de 2021.
Mi hijo, que ahora está en quinto grado, y mi hija, que está en primer grado, inmediatamente se enamoraron del personal y los estudiantes de Winnetka.

My name is Eva Anguiano. This is my first year serving on the PTA Board as Secretary. I am excited about the opportunity to be more involved in school decisions that affect all of our children. I have previously been active at the school by attending field trips and volunteering in the classroom. I am an Oak Cliff native. My husband and I have lived in Oak Cliff for years and have a girl in 6th grade and a boy in 5th grade. In my spare time, I love staying active with my kids, watching them play sports, and spending time with family and friends. Professionally, I work for UT Southwestern Hospital an Eligibility Denials Specialist.
Mi nombre es Eva Anguiano. Este es mi primer año sirviendo en la Junta de la PTA como Secretario. Estoy entusiasmada con la oportunidad de participar más en las decisiones escolares que afectan a todos nuestros niños. Previamente he estado activa en la escuela asistiendo a excursiones y siendo voluntaria en el salón de clases. Soy nativo de Oak Cliff. Mi esposo y yo hemos vivido en Oak Cliff durante años y tenemos una niña en sexto grado y un niño en quinto grado. En mi tiempo libre, me encanta mantenerme activa con mis hijos, verlos practicar deportes y pasar tiempo con mi familia y amigos. Profesionalmente, trabajo para UT Southwestern Hospital como especialista en denegaciones de elegibilidad.
My name is Rosa Cervantes I am 28 years old. Born and raised in Dallas, Texas "Oak Cliff". I'm married and a stay-at-home mom of three beautiful children who I love with all my heart. Family is everything to me, I love to spend every minute I can next to them and make new memories every day. This year I will be Winnetka's PTA membership coordinator. I'm so excited to be part of PTA and work together to do great things for Winnetka this school year!
Mi nombre es Rosa Cervantes tengo 28 años. Nacido y criado en Dallas, Texas "Oak Cliff". Estoy casada y soy ama de casa de tres hermosos niños a quienes amo con todo mi corazón. La familia lo es todo para mí, me encanta pasar cada minuto que puedo junto a ellos y crear nuevos recuerdos todos los días. Este año seré el coordinador de membresía de la PTA de Winnetka. ¡Estoy muy emocionada de ser parte de la PTA y trabajar juntos y hacer grandes cosas para Winnetka este año escolar!
My name is Maricruz Morales, and I am the Fundraising Coordinator for Winnetka's PTA. I am the parent of an 8-year-old. Throughout the years, I have developed a strong sense of devotion to volunteer at Winnetka. This experience has given me a deep appreciation to give back to the community and leading by example to go above and beyond for the Winnetka Family. As part of Winnetka's PTA, I hope to support the campus in reaching our goals.

My name is Gicela Ramirez (Gicel) and I am an Oak Cliff native. I have two children, 2 Pits (Doobie & CoCo), 2 cats (Shadie & Shredder) and am obsessed with plants. I find myself more at peace when I'm crafting or fishing. On my spare time I enjoy doing eyelashes. My favorite time of year is when Big Tex comes home! My favorite Season is when the Mavs are Playing! I am excited for a great school year ahead.

My name is Cynthia Lira, Historian for our PTA Board. Coming back to PTA for my 2nd year. I was born and raised in Dallas, TX. I am DISD alum, graduate from W. H. Adamson High School. A little about myself, I am a mother of four who enjoys music, dancing and loves to cook. On my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, going shopping and watching scary movies. Here at Winnetka, the teachers and staff are very welcoming; I could not have chosen a better school for my son to attend.

Adamson. Un poco sobre mí, soy una madre de cuatro hijos que disfruta de la música, el baile y le encanta cocinar. En mi tiempo libre, disfruto pasar tiempo con mi familia y amigos, ir de compras y ver películas de miedo. My name is Fernanda Paez and I will be the Parliamentarian this year. I hope we can make super fun things for the kids and improvements for the school this upcoming school year.
