Hello GMSS families,

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! We hope the rain doesn't "dampen" your trick or treating fun today! It was fun to see the students wore costumes to school. Please be mindful as you may bring some candy to school tomorrow- you do not need your whole collected amount! YOU cannot sell that candy here and we do have students with allergies! SO be safe and responsible.

We are already to November! Reminder that Sunday, November 3rd - the clocks go back an hour!

Also for your planning, teachers have a Professional development day on Friday, November 8th so there are no students in attendance.

Veterans Day at GMSS:

Hello South families! Each November we are honored to celebrate Veteran's Day here at GMSS - if you have a veteran[s] or active military in your family and would like to have your GMSS student[s] honor them at our ceremony this year, please take a moment and complete this survey if you have not already done so! Official invitations will be sent in the coming days, but save the date of 11/11 from 9:15-10:15 [we will try to be as close to that as possible!] for our celebration.

We are pleased to announce our clubs and activities available to students - if you have any questions about a club, please reach out to Ms. Bonath [bonatha@gjps.org] or the advisor for each club. See the chart for available times and dates of meetings!

CLUBS

Our PTO meetings are the 1st Tuesday of the month at 7:00pm. We run our meetings virtually and hope to have many attend!
