Computer Club
Starting Wednesday, November 2nd-December 14th, we will have Computer Club for 3rd-5th graders at Vista View. VA students are welcome! Class times will be from 8:00-9:00am, in the DLS room. Bjorn will be the instructor. Transportation is not provided.

Chess Club
Chess Club (through our Community Education department) starts on Monday, October 10th. Students who registered should go to the cafeteria after school for a snack and will then go to the Media Center. The class is from 4-5pm every Monday school is in session. For questions, please contact Jason Mode, Chess Club instructor this year. Registration link

Senior class party
Class of 2023 Parents/ Guardians – please join us to plan for the Class of 2023 Senior Party.
We need a great group of volunteers to plan this event. All are welcome!

Application for Educational Benefits
Every year, all families with children enrolled in Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191 should complete an Application for Educational Benefits. Many families are eligible to receive free or reduced-price meals, as well as waived or reduced fees for transportation, athletics, activities and more!
By completing an application, you are helping to ensure every school in District 191 gets the much-needed state and federal funding it deserves.

In order for us to effectively communicate with you throughout the school year, please make sure you update your address, phone numbers, email address and emergency contact/s on PARENTVUE. This information is very important as it is the only way to contact you in the event of an emergency.
We will send weekly bulletins for families through email.
TEXT MESSAGING
Additionally, Parents/Guardians now have the option of receiving text notification from District 191 and its schools. Text messages are timely and relevant, including weather related school closure information, emergency announcements and others.
In order to participate, parents/guardians must opt-in by texting “subscribe” to the
number 68453.

Free COVID At-Home Rapids Tests
Minnesotans can now order additional free COVID-19 rapid at-home tests through the state’s online ordering program. Every home in Minnesota is eligible to order up to 12 tests for free, while supplies last. Order Your Free At-Home Rapid Tests!
The at-home rapid tests available for order:
- Are rapid antigen at-home tests, not PCR
- Can be taken anywhere
- Give results within 15 minutes (no lab drop-off required)
- Work whether or not you have COVID-19 symptoms
- Work whether or not you are up to date on your COVID-19 vaccines
- Are also referred to as self-tests or over-the-counter (OTC) tests
People using the test kits should follow testing instructions from the manufacturer.
