We had a great week back from spring break.

3rd, 4th and 5th students worked very hard this week and completed taking their IAR assessments.

This week we posted our students' Love My School Posters as well as our bulletin board displays for Autism Acceptance Month, Arab American Awareness Month and Passover. During 2025, we have had wonderful displays for Black History Month, Women's History Month, World Downs Syndrome Day, Easter, Ramadan and Eid.

Builta's Multicultural Night is coming soon on April 23 from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm. Please read below about how your family can participate in this great event.

Builta is hosting its All-School Multicultural Night on April 23rd from 6:00-7:30 PM. We need your help to make this a successful night. We are in need of volunteers. Click the link below or scan the QR code for more details.

Multicultural Night is a celebration of the diverse students and families that make up Builta School. We are honored that the school community takes the time to share what makes their family special and unique. Please remember that this event is child centered. It is important that information shared through displays and presentations remains free from political viewpoints or messages.

Thank you for helping to make this a joyful event.

The Optional Parent Input form provides parents the opportunity to share information they would like considered when class lists are created. Please note that while we will review parent information noted on this form, we cannot make any guarantees. There are many factors that go into class development and Builta staff work very hard to thoughtfully place every student, with or without parent notes.

This form gives parents a chance to:

• Share confidential information beyond the classroom, that we may not be aware of, and that parents feel is relevant to class placement for next year.

• Share if there has been a relationship between your child and another child that may impact your child’s ability to focus on learning. Please note that there is no promise that we will be able to honor this request. Please list no more than one name.

Please note that requests to have a particular classroom teacher or for specific friends to be placed together cannot be honored.

Online Registration for the 2025-26 School Year Begins on May 1, 2025

The 2025 Badger Registration Race

As a reminder, fees and medical forms do not need to be paid or uploaded at the time of registration.

The Badger Registration Race for the 2025-26 school year is coming soon! Having parents register their student(s) as soon as possible assists the school in placing children in classrooms as well as with the number of classroom sections that are assigned per grade level.

Beginning on May 1 parents and guardians will use their Parentvue account to complete online registration for the 2025-26 school year.

Every student who is registered or whose parents notify the office their child is not returning between May 1 and May 15 will receive a prize.

If you are moving and not returning to Builta, please call the office at 630-226-4400 or email Mrs. Padilla at marbella_padilla@ipsd.org and your student will receive a prize that will be counted towards the whole class reward.

Students can check out the board by the front office where we are having a friendly class competition.

The first class who has everyone registered or has communicated that their child is not returning to Builta will win a Dilly Bar Classroom Party.

The Indian Prairie Educational Foundation (IPEF) invites you to come run or walk with Team IPEF 2025! This is our 12th year as a charity partner with the Endeavor Health Naperville Half Marathon, 10K & 5K race, which takes place on Sunday, October 19th. Join our team of teachers, staff, students, community members, and parents to proudly represent and raise funds for your school and the programs of IPEF. Registration for the next year begins on May 1st. As we begin our preparations for registration, please reach out to the office staff to let us know if you are moving. If you move during the school year, you are always able to finish the school year. However, you will need to register at your new school for next year, the 25-26 school year.
