STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT
Atmosphere and Hydrosphere Choice Boards
Teal students have spent the last few weeks learning about the atmosphere and hydrosphere through choice boards. Their last board allowed them to use their creativity to make 3D models and maps along with meteorologist videos and new weather tool inventions. All of the students worked so hard and produced amazing projects! They presented in a Gallery Walk and gave each other positive feedback on their fantastic work!
Hot Wheels and Math
Mrs. Mosetti's Math-8 students have been working on a hands-on data collecting project. The goal was to determine if there was a correlation between the incline of a road and the stopping distance of a car. After experimenting with Hot wheels tracks and cars, students used Google Sheets to generate scatter plots and trendline equations. They then made mathematical predictions on the stopping distance of their car in order to avoid an obstacle in the road. Students did a great job collecting and analyzing data!
Gold Pod Roaring 20s Day!
Gold Pod and Mr. Hammond's Social Studies classes took part in Gold Pod's 3rd annual ROARING TWENTIES DAY! Students dressed in trendy outfits from the era while listening to Jazz tunes from Mr. Ehrhardt & Mr. Auble! A great experience for all!!
