This year is going to be a year of learning and growth! As always, we will educate the mind and prepare your student for academic success, but we will also focus on educating matters of the heart. This theme goes along with our love of Capturing Kids' Hearts Monthly Character Trait Education. Be on the look for helpful resources and ways to help us help your student at school and at home!

We have had an amazing first week of school! We hope you have too!

As we continue to get into routines, we know teachers are going through procedures with your student and want to remind you to take time to read the CGIS student handbooks for reminders on all of our Hawk Way Procedures. Knowing and following these procedures will make adjusting to a new year so much easier. Please take time to read arrival and dismissal procedures, dress code policies, cell phone policies, and all other parts of these important handbooks!

Please join us for our beginning of the year Show Up Nights. Show Up Night is the Open House Night to see classrooms, meet teachers, pay school fees, pay the I-Reach Laptop Insurance Protection plan, and get familiar with our school. We hope to see you on Show Up Night!

All Show Up Nights are from 5:30pm-7:00pm

Please see the business sponsorship form below about business sponsorships. Business sponsorships are due soon so those business sponsors can be included in promoting Hawk Olympics!

More information will be coming home soon about this year's Hawk Olympics and all the ways to raise money during Hawk Olympics!

Grade level teachers may add some specific classroom needs, supplies, and wish lists. They will be communicating with more information soon!

There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, August 21 at 6:00pm in the CGS Library for anyone interested in an educational trip to Spain and Portugal. The trip will be in the summer of 2026.
