Hi Penn Brook families,

We hope you had a wonderful weekend and your week is off to a great start.

I met with some 6th graders for lunch last week and we thought a Spirit Week before vacation would be a fun way to wrap up 2024 at Penn Brook. Our goal is to bring the Penn Brook community together by engaging in a whole school Spirit Week as we wind down 2024 and gear up for 2025. Please see the specifics below for each day's spirit attire.

Week of 12/16 - 12/20 - Spirit Week

Monday - Wear Georgetown attire or Georgetown Blue to celebrate our town

Tuesday - Wear sparkly, glowing, or fancy attire to celebrate the new year and in recognition of being the Georgetown Royals

Wednesday - Wear something wacky - hat, socks, hair to celebrate a WACKY WEDNESDAY

Thursday - Wear comfy clothing or pajamas to celebrate a vacation break and a little more time to relax

Friday - Wear an Ugly Sweater as a fun way to participate in a winter tradition - please wear an "ugly" sweater in the theme of winter, Christmas/Holiday or red, white and green

The term ended at Penn Brook on 11/27. Teachers have completed grades and we are waiting for Aspen to finalize the actual Report Cards. In the future this won't be an issue but because these are our first report cards in Aspen there is an extra component. We have been told that the report cards will be ready on Friday. I will send out an email once you can see these in Aspen.

Breakfast will be grab and go style. Students will pick up their breakfast if they choose in the cafeteria in the morning and then go to their classroom.
