As spring weather arrives, many students enjoy walking or biking to school. Please review pedestrian safety information with your children to ensure they arrive safely to and from school.

End of Quarter Information - Viewing Canvas Courses and Fourth Quarter Grades

At the end of each quarter, courses in Canvas will conclude and will no longer be visible on the Canvas app and website. Courses for this year’s fourth quarter will conclude on May 23rd. Report cards will be generated and families will be able to view second quarter grades on ParentVUE at the end of the day on June 6, 2024.

Each new quarter, classroom teachers will publish their next quarter Canvas course. As courses are published, students and families will again be able to see current courses on the Canvas app and Canvas website. For Canvas parent resources, visit www.bluevalleyk12.org/canvas.

Please refrain from bringing your pets to the entrance of the school at arrival/dismissal. Please keep pets near the red marquee sign. Some students are very allergic, and others are afraid of animals. Even the friendliest pets can get anxious around a large number of students. We want to make sure we keep everyone safe. Thank you!

Elementary school registration for the 2024-25 school year is open and online now for current students. Registration is required annually and is the time to update your child’s information and pay fees. Completing registration confirms that your child will attend school in August. Registration for the 2024-2025 school year opens Tuesday, May 7 at 10 a.m. Click hereto register for before and/or after school care. These spots fill up quick!

As we begin the fourth quarter, the district has determined the last day of school for students for 2023-24. Assuming no unforeseen circumstances cause us to cancel school, staff and families can plan on May 24 as the last day for students in grades K-11. Students in the early childhood programs will have their last day on May 23.
