A Note From the Principal
Dear Parents and Guardians,
March is a busy and exciting time at our school as we transition from winter to spring and prepare for the final stretch of the academic year. Our GIANT Support program continues to make a positive impact, providing students with the resources and encouragement they need to succeed. With the end of the third quarter approaching, we encourage students to stay focused, finish strong, and take advantage of any relearning or support opportunities available.
Juniors will be taking the ACT this month, an important step in their academic journey. We appreciate the efforts of our teachers and staff in preparing students for this opportunity, and we encourage our juniors to do their best. Meanwhile, winter sports are wrapping up, and we want to recognize the dedication and hard work of our athletes and coaches throughout the season. At the same time, spring sports are gearing up, and we look forward to seeing our student-athletes back in action as they take to the fields, courts, and track.
As always, we are grateful for the support of our families and community. Your involvement and encouragement play a vital role in our students’ success, both in and out of the classroom. Looking ahead, graduation is on the horizon, and we are beginning preparations to celebrate the achievements of our seniors. It’s an exciting time, and we look forward to honoring the Class of 2025 in just a few short months!
With GIANT PRIDE,
Cindy Schmidt

Towards Zero Deaths Coalition
A big thank you to the Towards Zero Deaths Coalition of Le Sueur County for attending the boys' basketball game and promoting the importance of traffic safety. Your dedication to educating our community and encouraging safe driving habits makes a lasting impact. We appreciate your commitment to keeping our roads safer for everyone!
GIANT Support Rescheduled to March 6th
GIANT Support is Thursday, March 6th from 3:30-5:30 pm. Although all students are welcome, this is a time for those students who need extra support to receive more individualized instruction. Parents of students who are being requested will receive an email in the next few days.
During GIANT Support students move freely to and from the classrooms as needed. Students may leave when they have met with each requesting teacher. This is a good opportunity for students to take responsibility and initiative for their learning.
