Cold Weather Reminders

As the weather cools, please remember that we will continue to have outdoor recess daily unless conditions are unsafe. Be sure your child comes dressed appropriately for cooler temperatures, including jackets, hats, and gloves as needed. We want all students to enjoy their time outside comfortably!

Attendance & Tardy Reminder

Regular attendance is essential for your student's learning and success in school. We want to remind all families that every tardy and absence is recorded in PowerSchool, which you can check at any time to see your child’s attendance history. If you're unsure about the number of absences, please log in to review.

Each quarter, we review attendance data and send required notices to guardians of students with five or more absences or tardies. The purpose of these notices is to build a partnership between home and school that supports regular attendance, which directly impacts student learning and growth.

If you’re finding it challenging to get your child to school or out the door on time each day, please reach out to the principal or our social worker for support. We’re here to help!

2024-2025 School Fees

The Business Office is collecting fees for the 2024-2025 year. Specifically, instructional and transportation fees. If you haven’t had a chance to pay yet, we kindly ask that you do so soon. You can pay online through the Avoca Webstore (3.56% processing fee), or send cash or a check (payable to Avoca School District 37). Simply drop your payment at your school’s front office or mail it to: Business Office, 2921 Illinois Road, Wilmette, IL 60091. Need more info?
