Book Drive Opens Friday - Can You Volunteer?

Hot on the heels of the auction, the annual Mothers' and Fathers' Day Book Drive kicks off on Friday. We still need 10 volunteers to sign up for 2-hour shifts staffing tables in the neighborhood.


Why support the Book Drive? If you haven't heard, our kids love Ross. And PTA funding is essential to providing Ross teachers and staff with the supplies and support they need to create the BEST learning environment for our children. Help us continue to meet this need.


What You Can Do

To make this event a success, we need your help in two ways:

  1. Sign up to help at a book drive table this weekend. Children are welcome and encouraged to join!
  2. Donate $25 to purchase a library book in honor/memory of someone special to you.

This is the PTA's last fundraising event of the school year. Please help us make it a success!

Auction Fire Sale and Item Pick-Up

THANK YOU to everyone who joined us in person and virtually to celebrate Ross and make our Spring Fling Auction a fundraising success!!


  • Items that didn't sell during the silent auction are now open for fire sale bidding until Thurs at midnight. Bidding starts at 50% of the original price. Get these deals while they're hot!


  • If you need to collect items you won, the PTA will have a table in front of school during and after drop-off on Friday morning, where you can claim your goods!

DC United Tickets Still Available

The Ross PTA has reserved a block of discounted tickets ($27 ea) for the Ross community at the upcoming DC United game vs. Toronto FC on Sat. May 21 at 4PM.


Reserve your seats today!


If your family would like to attend, but is unable to cover the cost, please let Principal Searl know. The PTA has set aside funds to help make it possible for more families to join.

Stead Park Community Meeting - 4/27

Join DPR and DGS for a final community meeting to discuss the upcoming renovations to the Stead Park Recreation Center. The purpose of this meeting is to present information about the play field and the proposed location for the splash pad.
