Today our students carried 670 pounds of donated food across Roxboro Road to ACIM. Our students have learned about the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goal of Zero Hunger, and everyone in our community came together to bring donations. We were so thankful the weather cleared up so that we could personally deliver the food to our neighbors. Thank you to everyone who participated in being worldchangers today!
We were out for Veteran's Day on Monday, and we spent time in classroom talking about those who have served our country and fought for our freedoms. If you served, we are so thankful for you.
Congratulations to the students who earned free Pizza Hut pizzas through Book It this October! Keep up the good work!
Ms. Hernandez was recognized for the highest use of Discovery Education for K-5 across the state of North Carolina. Congratulations to Ms. Hernandez!!!
You are invited to join us on November 26th during your student's lunch block for Thanksgiving Lunch. Lunch is free for students, but will cost $5.25 for family members. You are encouraged to pay in advance.

- Our spelling bee is at 9:00 on November 26th.
- There will be no school November 27, 28, and 29.
- The Penguin Shop will run December 2nd through 6th. We will send home more information soon...
- PTO Bingo Night is December 6th.
- iMom's Breakfast will be December 10th at 8:00 for PreK-2nd grade only.
- Our Holiday Showcase is December 12th at 6:00.
- December 18th is our Winter Carnival. It will cost 100 Dojo Points to attend.
- December 19th and 20th are early release days.
