Notes from the Principals!
👩🏻🏫 Note from the Principal's Desk
Dear Myers Families,
As we approach the final marking period of the school year, it’s important that students finish strong and stay focused as we enter the last stretch of the year. We want to remind everyone to check their student’s grades for the 3rd marking period. Grades went live on Jupiter this morning!
The M-STEP testing season is upon us! Here are the testing dates for our 3rd-5th graders-
- Monday, April 28th Math
- Tuesday, April 29 Math
- Thursday, May 1st Science (5th grade only)
- Monday, May 5th Social Studies (5th grade only)
- Weds., May 7th ELA
- Thursday, May 8th ELA
- May 12-16 Make Ups
Attendance always a top priority at Myers, but ensuring your child is at school on these days is especially important. In addition, please make ensure your child gets plenty of sleep, eats a healthy breakfast each day. As always, breakfast will be served at school each morning. Encourage students to approach the test with confidence, taking their time to carefully complete each section. It’s important they understand that the test is a chance for them to demonstrate their knowledge, and every effort counts.
Thank you for your continued support as we work together to make the remainder of the school year a success. We are proud of all our students and look forward to seeing them finish the year strong!
Warm regards,
Mrs. Kato, Principal
Ms. Whitenack, Assistant Principal
