Dear Parkview Families,
Parkview Center School, in collaboration with our Parkview Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) and the Roseville School District, is excited to announce the early stages of planning an Inclusive Playground at Parkview!
As a lottery school and home to the district’s special education programs, Parkview serves a diverse student population, including those with disabilities which make it difficult or even impossible to access current play equipment and spaces. Parkview and the PTSA are committed to ensuring all our students have the opportunity to play. We have partnered with Safety First, a local company that designs and builds playgrounds across the district and state, to build a more accessible and inclusive playground for all of our students.

🎳 Parkview Bowling!
Truth or lie: Modern Bowling Standardized rules were established in 1895?
It's true! Bonus fact: earliest forms of bowling date back to 5,000 years ago in ancient Egypt with wall drawings depicting bowling found on an Egyptian tomb.
This November, Parkview PE teachers introduced students to all things bowling! From history and safety to scoring and friendly competition, students of all ages explored the ins and outs of this lifelong activity. Let’s be honest—learning to “roll, not throw” the ball is a great tip at any age!
Once students learned the basics, they tried out their new skills with fun games like Bingo Bowling, Bowling for (Fake) Dollars and Midnight Bowling.
🎥 Check out this video for a peek at the bowling fun happening at Parkview!
And a big thank you to our amazing PE team for this hard work on this fun unit!
