Week of November 29th
Greetings Lenox Families/Saludos Familias Lenox
It was so great to have the opportunity to connect with families during conferences. We are so proud of how hard students have been working; it is truly a joy to work and laugh with them daily! I also hope that you had a wonderful extended weekend surrounded by those you love.
This year we are focused on ensuring that Lenox is place where all students and families feel valued, represented, and celebrated. Be on the lookout for a survey in the coming months - we want to hear your thoughts and ideas for making Lenox an even more amazing place! I also encourage you to join a Booster Club meeting, virtual or in person, to learn more about what is happening and to share your ideas. I am grateful for all of the opportunities to connect with families and look forward to strengthening our partnership even more. If you ever have questions, suggestions, or wonderings, please do not hesitate to reach out to your child's classroom teacher, the office or me. Communication and connection are key to our success!

News & Notes You Need to Know
PAX Tools Join a free virtual workshop for parents, guardians, and caregivers on Wednesday, Dec. 1, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Space is limited to 20 per workshop; to save your seat, please register at this link by Monday, Nov. 29.
Rainy & Cold Weather
Students have two recesses a day and will continue to go outside moving into the winter. We have two covered areas and do close the field/equipment when needed. Please send your student(s) to school with a jacket. Our lost and found is filling up, so adding names in coats/sweaters/etc. is very helpful when students are looking for lost items. Be sure to encourage your student(s) to visit the lost and found this week!
Travel & Quarantine Reminders
Just a reminder that students who travel need to follow the District’s quarantine protocols upon their return, which have been developed in consultation with Washington County Public Health. Students will be able to access their education remotely during the period of their quarantine using Google Classroom/StudentVue. For specific details visit our HSD Website HERE
Birthday Celebrations - Reminder
Please check with your student(s) teacher prior to sending anything with your student. Allowed items include book donations, pencils, etc. No candy or things that require the removal of a mask or balloons.
Attendance & Tardies
9 or less is best! Regular, on-time attendance is essential to students’ education and our goal is that students miss 9 days or less during a school year. If your student will not be attending school, please call our attendance line at 503-844-1363, and be sure to share the reason for the absence. Class starts promptly at 7:45 - if a student arrives at or after 7:45 they need to stop by the front office to check in and grab a tardy pass.
