Parents it is time to start thinking about how to prevent the dreaded summer slide and begin preparing for how to keep skills fresh an on the forefront during those summer months. Summer Solutions offers books for all grade levels that are designed to be worked on 3 times per week for 10 weeks and only cost $13.00. Order forms will be coming home in your child’s Friday folder. You have two options for ordering:

1. If ordering via the paper order form – complete it and return it to school no later than May 10th. If received after May 10th we will not be able to place your order.

2. If ordering via their website and you’d like it shipped for free to school it must be ordered by May 12th.

3. If ordering via their website and you’d like it shipped to your home for a small shipping fee you can order at any time.

Our school’s Spanish-Speaking Liaison, Angei Varona, will be stepping down from her position on June 1st in order to pursue school fulltime. We appreciate all that Ms. Verona has contributed to our school community both working with our Hispanic population, as well as other responsibilities. While we will miss her as a school employee, we are grateful for her continued involvement as a school parent!

When a student has a father/father-figure come in to school to volunteer as a Watch Dog, they are treated to a uniform break as long as they are wearing an official Watch D.O.G.S. shirt.
