CONGRATULATIONS AND SURPRISE, MR. COELHO!
IMADA threw a surprise breakfast for Mr. Coelho on March, in honor of his second Grammy Award nomination! A multitude of Fine Arts faculty from across the district were in attendance, in addition to Dr. Blake, Mr. Mitchell, and Mr. Fitzgerald. Congratulations, Mr. Coelho, you continue to make us proud!
Summer Study Grants
Families of rising 6th - 12th grade students should watch their email boxes for Summer Study Grant applications, which are available to help students continue their arts-related pursuits while school is not in session. Stay tuned for details!
IHS Jazz Takes Home Silver!
After earning a High Silver rating at the Massachusetts Association of Jazz Educators (MAJE) Northeast Senior District Festival on March 7, the Ipswich High School Jazz Band went on to receive a Silver medal at the MAJE State Finals jazz competition in Norwood! Congratulations, Jazz Band!
CLUE!
On January 26 and 27th, Ipswich High School students presented three sold out performances of Clue!
Choralfest
On March 6th, over 300 elementary, middle, and high school Choir students, representing grades 5 - 12, performed together at the annual Choralfest.
Stringfest
Stringfest 2024 took place on March 20th. Thank you to Orchestra Directors Marissa Scarano (Gr 4-5, 7-8) & Michael Coelho (Gr 6, IMS Chamber, IHS Orchestras, & Fine Arts Director), and student teacher Cecelia Kim!
