Scholastic Book Orders
We've only had 2 families turn in their certificates for FREE books from Scholastic. Please go to Scholastic.com with your child and pick out your $20 worth of books. Then just email or text Donna, or send in a note with your child's choices.
PAC Officers
We are in need of a PAC president, secretary, and treasurer. It sometimes becomes difficult to conduct the business of the PAC without officers. Please consider volunteering.
Substitutes
Cooper Landing School is in need of substitutes for all positions: teacher, instructional aide, special education aide, secretary, and custodian. If you are interested, please go to the KPBSD website to apply: https://kpbsd.org/departments/assistant-superintendent/instructional-services/hr/substitute-information/
Teacher substitutes need only to have a high school diploma or GED. A teaching certificate is not required.
Winter Gear
Please make sure your child has a warm jacket, hat, gloves, snow pants and boots. If it is convenient for you, and your child has extras, these things can be kept at the school. Please make sure to label each item with your child's name.

Hope School Happenings
Watch out Alyeska here we come! It is time to have some fun. The students are excited and raring to go. It looks like all has been worked out with the Alyeska Resort and our school. The first day should be their learning experience with the new staff and managers at the facility. They will be fine and do very well. Please make sure you are on time and do not forget your students need to pack their lunch and come prepared. See Dawn for details about your daily agenda. She may have already provided it.
Also, congratulation to our sweet and smart students Beverly Jabaay and Eleanor Steh for placing 5th out of the eight competing schools.
