This will be an ongoing fundraiser dedicated to raising funds for science camp.

Each year we participate in St. Vincent de Paul’s Food Drive to feed those in need during the holidays. The food drive will begin on November 14th and wrap up on November 22nd. To help organize the food donations, each class has been designated a specific food item:

K - Pasta

1st - Canned vegetables

2nd - Canned fruit

3rd - Canned soup

4th - Rice and beans

5th - 1-2 lb. cheese block

6th - Bag of apples or oranges

7th - Peanut butter

8th - 5 lb bag of potatoes

Thank you for your continued kindness and generosity during this time of the year.

Christmas time is coming soon and we are preparing for our annual Giving Tree. St. Anthony’s Giving Tree is a heartwarming ministry that involves our entire parish. During the month of November and December leading up to Christmas, the Giving Tree Ministry acts as a vehicle so that members of our parish can share their blessings with those who are less fortunate in our community.

Thanks to your generosity in 2021, St Anthony’s Giving Tree received 593 gift cards. Gift cards can be dropped off any time prior to December 16th either at the school or the parish office. Gift cards can be purchased from the St. Anthony School daily between 8-9 or by calling the school office at 209-823-4513. The school benefits from rebates merchants offer on their goods.

*SAS students will have a Penance Service is on December 1 following the school Mass. This will be for students in grades 3-8, who have previously received the sacrament of reconciliation.

Have you ever wanted to know more about the Bible? Every person has a different relationship with their Bible; some read it daily, some read it rarely, some have never touched it, and some have written books about it. Everyone, no matter what their relationship is with the Bible is welcome to attend one of St Anthony’s ongoing Bible studies.

The following studies meet in the Parish Office Conference Room. All study materials are available through: ascensionpress.com Call the office to sign up.

• Tuesday Mornings 10 AM: “Matthew: The King and His Kingdom” (24 sessions - Begins Nov. 8)
• Wednesday Mornings: 6 AM: (Men’s Bible Study) - “Unlocking the Mystery of the Bible” (10 sessions – Begins Nov. 30)
• Wednesday Mornings: 8 AM: “Ephesians: Discover Your Inheritance“ (8 sessions – Begins Nov. 30)
• Wednesday Afternoons: 1 PM: “The Bible Timeline – The Story of Salvation” (23 sessions – Ongoing)
• Thursday Mornings: 10 AM: “Mass Communication – A Journey Through the Mass” (Ongoing)
• Thursday Evenings: 7 PM: “Matthew: The King and His Kingdom” (24 sessions -Ongoing)

100% of the profit you earn will be applied as a tuition credit for the following school year.

Please email scrip at scrip@sasmanteca.org to place your scrip order or call the school office. Remember to include a contact number. Any items we do not have in stock will automatically be put on backorder unless otherwise stated by you.

Please do not order physical cards through RaiseRight. If you would like physical cards please obtain them from our scrip office.

The online RaiseRight program is an excellent way to earn your Scrip profit on the go! ALL physical cards must be ordered through our Scrip office.

Refer a new family, K-8, (Preschool/PreK classes do not qualify) to St. Anthony's Catholic School, once the family is enrolled - you earn one month's tuition credit to be applied to your FACTS account. The more families you refer, the more credit you earn! The free month of tuition is applied after the new incoming family has been enrolled for a trimester.

*Families MUST include your name in the referral section of the application to ensure you receive credit.
