Good luck to our Boys Basketball Team as they start District play this week! Best of luck in Districts!
Our Student Senators traveled to Grand Rapids to participate in the MASC/MAHS Student Leadership Conference. This amazing group of individuals gained ideas on leadership, school spirit, and service while networking with students from across the state. This is awesome! Way to represent the Zebra Nation! #YouRock
Wayne Memorial High School was recognized as the one of 80 schools that received the Support Music Merit Award (SMMA) from The NAMM Foundation! The SMMA Award is an opportunity for an individual school (public, private, parochial or charter) to be acknowledged for its commitment to music education. It is a "school-only" distinction awarded as part of the Best Communities for Music Education program. Way to go Mr. Mety, Mr. Greene, and all of our Music Students! You are all truly amazing!
Another big week ahead for the Zebra Nation.... Please continue to work on your goals that I hope you set for yourself, as I asked you to do last week, leading us to spring break (3 more weeks). These goals can be school related (around raising your academics, bettering your attendance, making good decisions, etc.), and they can also include personal goals that you set for yourself as well. Set those goals and go achieve them! Reach out to a trusted adult in the building for support in achieving your goals. YOU CAN DO IT! YOU GOT THIS! WE GOT YOU! #StrongerTogether
We will continue to run 'random' hall sweeps throughout the weeks ahead. These hall sweeps will no longer be announced over the PA system, as we look to limit classroom disruptions. The hall sweeps will be continuous as you need to get to class on time and stay in class where the magic is happening with your teacher and classmates! --- Get to class on time. Stay in class. Make good choices.
Have a wonderful week!
#WaynePride
