Principal's Message
Spring is in full swing, and what a fantastic way to kick it off! This past week was packed with fun and school spirit—from our exciting Spirit Assembly and Family Friday to the high-energy BMX Assembly, it’s been a joy seeing our Vikings come together and celebrate.
Looking ahead, please remember that next week we have two short days—Wednesday and Thursday—with dismissal at 12:15 PM. Be sure to plan accordingly!
Also, a big thank you to the families who make the extra effort to get their children to school on time, especially on Mondays. Our attendance patterns show that Monday tends to be the day with the most tardies. Let’s try setting those alarms just five minutes earlier so that every Viking can start their day on time at 7:40 AM. We appreciate your ongoing support and look forward to seeing you at Viking Drop Off—and as always, please remember to drive safe and take care!
We also have SSC on Monday and SGT on Tuesday where SPSA will be shared and finalized. Please attend if you can.
Warmly,
Mrs. Darius Ashton
Principal Ericson Elementary

Counselor's Update
Hello Ericson Families,
This week our kindergarten and first grade students did a great job sharing out reminders of rules for success at school and talking all about their spring breaks, our second, third and fourth graders finished up their Ericson March Madness presentations and did an excellent job with it! 5th grade students had part 1 of our lesson on slurs, offensive jokes and how to respond. We will be continuing our discussion on appropriate language next week as well. Have a great weekend!
