I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to our Jones Middle School Community of Veterans for joining us on Monday for our first-ever Veterans Day Breakfast. It was a joy to see our students perform, enjoy breakfast, and have the chance to honor your service. A special thank-you to our Breakfast Sponsor, Encore Wire, for generously supporting this event and showing their commitment to our veteran community.
We are also thrilled to announce our first-ever basketball games, happening on November 20th and November 21st. Please remember that students attending as spectators must be picked up by 8:00 p.m. if they are not accompanied by an adult.
Additionally, Picture Retake Day is scheduled for November 19th. Students who missed Picture Day or are new enrollees will be called down for photos during their English class. If your child is requesting a picture retake, they must bring a parent note specifically requesting a retake on November 19th. This note will serve as their pass and should be given to their English teacher. Please take time to discuss retake plans with your child before Tuesday.
