BODIES the Exhibition at the Luxor in Las Vegas
On Monday, March 25th a group of students from Mrs. Becker's and Mrs. Schweigert's classes traveled to the Bodies Exhibit in Las Vegas. As students walked through the exhibit, they were able to listen to dialogue about the specimens on display. They were exposed to many of the body systems, and facts about each. There were preserved "actual" specimens on display from the smallest organs (bones of the ear) to entire bodies that were dissected out to show muscle, reproductive organs, and other systems/structures. It was a fascinating and enriching experience for all. Students were able to connect lessons learned in class with real specimens and how these specimens' organs function.
