Administrator Message
On November 8, 2022 we take time to remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for us at the Remembrance Day assembly at 10:30 am. The assembly is opened to the public.
Winter has arrived and we want to remind all parents to ensure that your child is dressed (winter jacket, toque, mitts/gloves, winter boots and snow pants) for the weather. We want our students to enjoy the outdoors for recess, gym and bus trips. Please see the BRSD administrative procedure 551 Winter apparel on the bus. https://www.brsd.ab.ca/download/206800
Our volleyball season is coming to a close this month and basketball will be starting up right after. We will starting holding a variety of clubs for students to participate during the lunch hour this November.
Thank you to our Sr. and Jr. high leadership classes for organizing spirit weeks, Haunted House and fun lunch time activities.
This is a reminder to parents to complete the digital registration, technology use agreement and FOIP forms. School fees are due. If you are need any assistance please call the office.
This has been a difficult couple of weeks for the students and staff. We appreciate all the kind words and support from the community.

- equity for sexual and gender minority students
- safe, caring and inclusive spaces for all students
- healthy, respectful environments and relationships to prevent or eliminate bullying and discrimination (Alberta Education).
Research tells us that LGBTQ2S+ students are more likely to feel safe and are more comfortable being open about their sexual orientation, gender identity and/or gender expression in schools with GSAs/QSAs because they provide a place to create a sense of belonging. We look forward to supporting student diversity and inclusion in Tofield School.
