Wednesday's in October & November from 9:00 - 9:45 am and 2:00 - 2:45 pm

Application Workshops give seniors the opportunity to work with the Counseling & Career Center on their college applications. Seniors can use this time to work on their college applications, ask questions or have us review their applications before they hit submit. We can also review college essays and PIQs during this time.

College Application Workshop Registration (seniors must register using their LVJUSD account)

October 14 at lunch in 302

Join an admissions counselor from UC Merced to learn more about the UC Personal Insight Questions. Following this workshop, there will be a limited number of feedback sessions. These 10-minute sessions give seniors the opportunity to meet one-on-one with the UC Merced counselor. Seniors will share their PIQ draft(s) and receive instant feedback.

October 21 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm at Dublin High School

Students and parents are invited to the Tri-Valley College & Career Expo. Over 100 organizations will be in attendance including representatives from the CSUs, UC, Private Colleges, Out-of-State Colleges, the Military, Apprenticeships and more. Click here for an updated list of attendees.

Students are invited to meet with representatives from a variety of out-of-state colleges. Students are encouraged to register using StriveScan to connect with the colleges that they are interested in.

Wednesday, October 30 during ASE in the Little Theater

Students will learn about college essays and the UC Personal Insight Questions. Students will receive tips and resources for getting started on their college essays and PIQs. All students are welcome.

November 14 - Las Positas College

We will be taking students on a field trip to Las Positas College. The field trip will include a campus tour, program and services information as well as an admissions overview. Students will need to provide their own transportation to and from this field trip. This field trip is open to all students.

December 4 - DC 16 in San Leandro

Students are invited to tour DC 16 in San Leandro. DC 16 are Painters, Drywall Finishers, Glaziers, Floor Coverers and Specialty Craft Workers. Students will have the opportunity to tour the facility and learn more about the programs offered as well as participate in hands-on activities and enjoy lunch. Transportation will be provided. This field trip is open to juniors and seniors.
