Wolfpack Weekly Grades 9 - 12
Week of February 3rd
Adulting Day
On Friday, February 14th, our high school students will participate in our third annual Adulting Day—a day dedicated to teaching practical life skills that aren't typically covered in the classroom but are essential for adulthood. The goal of this event is to answer the question: What do you wish you had learned in high school?
Throughout the day, students will have the opportunity to choose four different teacher-led sessions from a wide range of topics. Previous sessions have included everything from managing a bank account to sewing on a button, and much more in between! This year, we’re excited to offer a variety of topics designed to help our students become more confident and capable as they transition into adulthood.
Additionally, a representative from Delaware County Community College will host sessions for our 10th and 11th graders to explore Dual Enrollment opportunities, providing them with valuable insight into how they can begin earning college credits while still in high school.
Adulting Day promises to be both educational and fun, and we are looking forward to another successful event that will help our students build important life skills.
