Acting Superintendent Spotlight
Our schools are filled with vibrant learning, talented students, and dedicated educators working together to make incredible things happen every day. From academic achievements to creative endeavors and community events, there's always something to celebrate across the district. We are proud of the meaningful experiences our schools provide and the strong partnerships we share with families.
As we spotlight the successes within our schools, we also recognize the importance of making sure that every student and family feels safe, supported, and valued. We understand that recent discussions about federal immigration policies may cause concern or uncertainty, but please know that our campuses are safe spaces for all students. PYLUSD has strict protocols in place to protect student information, prevent discrimination, and maintain confidentiality. We are dedicated to proactively addressing any challenges and making sure that students and families have access to the resources and support they need.
We encourage families to visit www.pylusd.org/immigrationresources for important information and available resources. To further support our diverse community, the PYLUSD website features an embedded translation widget, enabling families to access this information in multiple languages.
Your child's safety and well-being are our top priority. Our goal is to maintain a calm and reassuring environment for our students, families, and staff. If you have questions or need assistance, please reach out to your school or the Student Service Department at (714) 985-8670. We value our partnership with you and are here to provide continued support. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy the amazing happenings around the district.
Sincerely,
Renee Gray
