Students in Grades 4K through 5th are eligible to participate in Tundra Tales!
Dear Parents and Guardians,
The Green Bay Packers are ready to kick off the 2023 Tundra Tales At-Home Reading Program for students in 4K through fifth grade. The Tundra Tales Program is meant to encourage children to read outside of school to help reach grade level reading proficiency. Great reading habits can start at home, and with your help, your child/children can read their way to scoring admission to the Packers Hall of Fame!
The Tundra Tales program runs from Monday, October 16, 2023 – Sunday, November 19, 2023. During this time, 4K through fifth grade participants must read or be read outside of the school day for an average of 60 minutes per week for four weeks, a TOTAL of 240 minutes. An extra week to achieve the total goal has been included to accommodate school schedules and spring breaks.
Your child will bring home a Tundra Tales Reading Log. A parent/guardian or adult is responsible for being the record keeper and signing the Tundra Tales Reading Log. Your child should return the completed and SIGNED Tundra Tales Reading Log to their Tundra Tales Coordinator no later than Monday, November 20, 2023. Participants who complete the entire program will receive one student and adult Hall of Fame admission voucher per participant. Vouchers will be mailed to and distributed by your child’s Tundra Tales Coordinator.
Additional literacy resources, including recommended reading lists will be added to the reading programs website at https://www.packers.com/tundratales. If you have questions, please feel free to contact your child’s Tundra Tales Coordinator.
We encourage you to support your child as they strive to score with Tundra Tales.
Tundra Tales Coordinator: Katie Stanczak, Principal and the St. Clare Classroom Teachers
Parents should verify the minutes. Students can return the verified forms to their classroom teacher.
Sincerely,

Save the Date for 11/1/23: All Saints Day is a Holy Day of Obligation
All School Mass
We are going to try something new this year and bus our K-8 students to the 8:30am Mass in Askeaton for All Saints Day. If you are able to join us that morning, it would be wonderful to have you.
For liability reasons, we cannot transport the 3K students on the bus and due scheduling reasons, we opted to keep 3K and 4K together. Therefore, grades 3K and 4K will report to school as normal for a regular school day/schedule. However, if you would like to transport your child separately to/from Mass and then bring them to school for 3K or 4K afterwards, that is welcomed.
