Home & School Announcements
Happy April! Wow! Where did the year go?
Before we wrap up the year, we do have some great events coming up. Next week, you will receive a flyer from Community Outreach. April is Childhood Abuse Prevention Month and we would like to collect needed items for CASA. Look to the flyer for more information. The last open gym is April 18th for 2nd & 3rd grades. And Field Day will be here before you know it. Keep May 17th open if you'd like to volunteer. More information coming soon.
We are so excited to be introducing a new app for communication called My School Anywhere. This will serve as our digital directory, sign ups, announcements and on-line payments for spiritwear and the Panther Fitness Challenge. This will be an app on your phone, available for you to access anytime, anywhere. Again, we will send a flyer home with all information and instructions in the coming week.
We elected our new board at our meeting last night and would like to announce the Prairie Point Home and School Board for the 2018-2019 school year:
President - Beth Kremer
Vice President - Angela McCumber
Treasurer - Katie Lund
Recording Secretary - Katie Brom
Corresponding Secretary - Elizabeth Schmidt
Finally, we will be saying goodbye to so many wonderful parent volunteers at the end of this year. Which means we have committees that will need chairpersons for next year. Please look for information coming home soon in Thursday folders. We would really love to welcome new parents into the Home & School team.
Have a wonderful April!
