FALL FEST EDITION
Our next order of business is FALL FEST: OUR BIGGEST FUNDRAISER OF THE YEAR!
Fall Fest takes place on Saturday, October 26th from 2pm to 5pm. If you are not familiar with Fall Fest, it is a community event & Harvest Festival/Halloween Celebration which takes place on the Topeka Campus.
5th Grade is in charge of concessions and games and all the proceeds go directly to our class to offset field trip costs, buses, t-shirts, etc. Last year's 5th Grade Committee raised over $6000! We can surpass that amount if we work together!!
We will be asking at least ONE parent per family to donate their time during Fall Fest to help ease the workload amongst all of us. Please take a look at the Google Form and tell us how you can help with Concessions, Activities and Games! Even a 30 minute shift would help a ton.

The Fall Fest Planning Committee Meeting takes place on Tuesday, October 15th at 6:30 pm on Zoom. Click HERE for Zoom link. You can also join the Fall Fest Channel on WhatsApp to be in the know.
We will discuss the following:
- Concessions: including ordering food, obtaining food donations, creating a menu, obtaining coolers/ice, etc.
- Games: Organize and plan games (big and small), coordinate with families for student made games, etc.
- Crafts/Activities: plan and organize the craft and activities station.
Together, we can make Fall Fest the best event of the year for our 5th Graders!

BOO GRAMS SALE FROM 10/21 TO 10/31
Thank you to all who have signed up to volunteer!
Our Boo Grams sales are just around the corner. Thank you to Ani Minasyan for all of the help purchasing the items to sell. You're the BEST!
Historically, Boo Grams are a big money maker for our class. It does take a lot of volunteers but if we all take one shift, we can pull it off and ease the hardship on all volunteers. Remember, all this fundraising is to offset costs: field trip buses, t-shirts, banquet, etc.

If you only have one drop off/pick up at Topeka please consider helping to support the sales at school. This will take the ease off of parents who have multiple drop offs.
SNACK SHACK ON 10/15
Snack Shack is happening on Tuesday, October 15th after school. If you or a representative for your family is available to help set up, sell, or clean up, we would love to have you. Sign up to volunteer HERE: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0A4CA4AC2AA0F5C52-51897631-snack#/
- Set up will begin at 12 and may include ez-up, table, product, music, line divider, etc. set up (approved volunteers only for this timeframe)
- Selling will begin at 1:28 and will include taking cash, making change, making snow cones, presenting product, creating joy, etc.
- Clean up will begin around 2 and involve returning all materials to their original places
We are all volunteers, so we are super grateful for any help you can provide. Thank you so much for those of you that have already committed to helping in some way tomorrow!

FUN FRIDAY ON 10/25
Not only was our First Fun Friday super fun, it was very successful. Fun Friday only offers one or two items so it is much quicker than Snack Shack.
