The Siegrist Star
Week of May 6 , 2024
Friday, May 24, 2024 will be our last day of school, and will be a 3-hour early dismissal - 12:35pm
It happened here this week...
May the 4th be with you!!!!
Big Shout out to Mrs. Kearns and our Siegrist peer helpers for putting up the photo opt for our students and staff.
Book Blast!
Our Book Blast event was once again a success. We raised enough contributions for each student in the school to receive a book. Whether students received one to ten books, the joy on the students' faces as they opened their packages and discovered their new books is truly priceless. Some students started reading immediately while some took in the smell of a brand-new book. Students will be able to take their books home to start or add to their home library.
With such great support, we have no doubt that next year's event will be even more successful, and hopefully, every student will indeed receive at least two books. Thank you to everyone involved for making this event possible and for prioritizing literacy in our school community.
NCC Student Community Project!
Mrs. Kish receives Classroom Grant!
Mrs. Kish will be purchasing Themed Multi Sensory Bins that will promote fine motor skills and so much more for all of our Kindergarten classrooms.

In House Skating Program during PE!
During May 6 - May 17, on your child's scheduled PE days he/she will be participating in an in-house skating program. Students may bring their own roller skates, rollerblades, and/or bike helmets from home if they prefer to use them, please do not go purchase these items as all will be provided. Helmets are not required but highly encouraged to bring if you have one.
Please make sure your child WEAR OR BRING SOCKS!!! Tall socks are the best (if possible) to help prevent the skates from rubbing on their legs and ankles.
We are so excited for this upcoming experience for our students. Coach Crawford and Coach Stapleton
