Dear Parents,
This year, our students have thrived in Art, PE, Music, and Makerspace. They've grown creatively, physically, and socially through collaboration and fun activities. From expressive artworks to collaborative sports, harmonious melodies, and inventive projects, their journey has been inspiring. Thank you for your support as we celebrate their achievements and look forward to more adventures ahead!

πβοΈExciting Updates from PE! πβοΈ
Some highlights from our recent adventures in Physical Education! Here's what we've been up to:
πFoot Dribble Skills: Our students have been honing their foot dribble techniques, mastering control and coordination with every step. Through fun and engaging activities, they're developing essential motor skills and building a solid foundation for lifelong physical activity.
ππββοΈSpeed Stacks Extravaganza: We were delighted to welcome a representative from Speed Stacks to our school! Our students had a blast learning about cup stacking and improving their hand-eye coordination. It was an exhilarating experience that left everyone energized and ready for more challenges!
π½Field Day Preparation: With Field Day just around the corner, we've been hard at work practicing various team-building activities, relay races, and exciting games. Our students are gearing up to showcase their sportsmanship, teamwork, and athletic prowess on the big day!
We're incredibly proud of the dedication and enthusiasm our students bring to each PE class. Thank you for your continued support in encouraging them to lead active and healthy lifestyles.
Thank you to those that signed up to volunteer for Field Day. We could still use more volunteers; the link is below.

Music & Art
Hello everyone, In music we are simply enjoying ourselves while learning a few new skills and reinforcing a lot of old ones. 5th Graders will be having their Talent Show on their Graduation Celebration night. We have tons of kids showing off talents and we will also be having the students do skits as well to provide a night of entertainment. These kids have grown so much in music this year and I look forward to seeing how much more they can still grow.
In Art we are finishing up some of our last projects for the year. We are doing a photography unit with kinder and 1st grade. Letting them practice basic camera functions on their ipads as well as basics of taking a good photo. In our upper grade levels we are finishing up some last projects that you can look forward to seeing soon. I am in the process of organizing the artwork to return to the kids so in the coming weeks you will see more of their artwork coming home as I take it off the walls and have students attempt to finish what is left for them. Thanks y'all and let's enjoy the rest of the year
Makerspace
Books and Building- Using literature in the Makerspace
Following that, we dove into "Where Do Jet Planes Sleep at Night" and launched into crafting various airplane models. Each student personalized their creations with unique tail numbers and designs to ensure they stood out. Finally, we took our creations to the "runway," also known as the hallway, to put their flying capabilities to the test!
