Long Hill School Newsletter
June 2025
Message from the Principal, Dr. D'Aiuto
I can not believe the end of the school year is upon us and next week is our last day of school. It seems like it was just yesterday that I was welcoming our students on our first day in August. I am so proud of all our students as they displayed hard work, perseverance, and effort throughout the school year. LHS is an incredible school, filled with so many wonderful children who never cease to amaze me.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank our PTO Executive Board (Niyati Rao, Jennifer Marsan, Rashania Thompson, and Kendra Rojas) for all their hard work and dedication this school year. I would also like to thank our various PTO chairs and volunteers for devoting their time as well. We would not have been able to have such a fantastic and successful school year without the PTO's support.
To all our families leaving LHS and moving to 5th grade at Perry Hill School, I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors. You will be missed.
As a friendly reminder, our last day of school is Tuesday, June 10. Thursday, June 5-Tuesday, June 10 are early dismissal days for students.
Have a happy, safe, and relaxing summer break!

Playground After School Hours
As the weather is getting warmer and more families are using the playground after school hours, please keep the following in mind:
- Students are expected to follow the same rules that they follow at recess and should play and act appropriately.
- Please actively monitor your child while he/she is playing on the playground equipment.
- The Pre-K playground is LOCKED and there is no access to this playground after school hours.
- Students should not be riding bikes, scooters, etc. during school hours or during dismissal time as this poses a safety risk.
