Hello Rock Nation,

I hope this message finds you staying warm during this Arctic blast as we enjoy our extended weekend. We're off to an incredible start this semester, despite some initial scheduling adjustments, and I'm excited to share some important updates with you.

Course selection for Fall 2025 is now open in Skyward! Students have from January 13th through January 29th to select their courses. We strongly encourage all students to meet with their parents and counselors during this period to discuss and select classes that align with their interests and academic goals. Rock Hill offers a diverse array of courses and extracurricular activities to support your student's growth and development.

As we observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, January 20th, we reflect on Dr. King's profound impact on our nation and his enduring message of equality, freedom, and dignity for all. At Rock Hill, these principles are woven into our daily mission through our ICSEEU core values. We remain committed to fostering an inclusive environment where every student has equal access to exceptional educational opportunities and can thrive in a safe, respectful atmosphere.

Congratulations to Evan Barnes ... 2025 Texas All-State Choir Member!
Evan was selected as a member of the Texas All-State Tenor Bass Choir through a four audition process, starting in September. He will join 111 other members from all over the state at the annual TMEA Convention & Clinic in San Antonio next month. Evan is the first "ever" Tenor Bass chord member to represent Rock Hill HS.

Join the choirs at Rock Hill HS for an evening of food and music entertainment! The annual Dinner Show will feature all choirs at Rock Hill, the annual Faculty-Parent Choir, as well as solo acts centering around a warmer time of year ... summer. Tickets must be purchased in advance, with options of dinner ($20 catered by HEB) or no no meal ($10).
