Happy Friday the 13th! We hope everyone has a wonderful Spring Break! Enjoy your children and find something fun to do with each other!! Just make sure it involves rainy day activities, because it looks like rain is in our future for the next week!
Almost everyone has turned in their chocolate money..if you have not done this, please send it after Spring Break!
We have been giving out attendance letters to every child that has missed 5, 7, or 10 days. If you have doctor's notes, please bring them so we can document your absences. We do not want anyone to get a ticket! However, we DO want every child to be at school, every day, on time, and for the entire day. If your child gets here after 9:10 a.m. they are counted absent for the morning. If your child leaves before 2:00 p.m. they are absent for the afternoon. SO...please avoid being late and picking up your child early if possible. PLEASE allow your child to stay all day so they can enjoy and benefit from all the activities their teachers have planned for them.
Kindergarten is possibly the most important grade of all, because it is in Kindergarten when all learning gets started. Kindergarten is also when all good school habits get started. Being punctual, completing homework, being a good friend, being a good student, and learning how to read and understand number concepts all starts here. We want this experience to set the stage for future success. Please help us by showing your child how much you value their education, their teachers, and their good behaviors!
