We are thrilled to announce that our playground offically opened this week. It was so wonderful to see the joy and excitement of the students to get to play on the new space. They ran, climbed, swung, zipped, spun and most importantly laughed! This space would not have been possible without Jonathan Nelson, our former Facilities Director who passed away before he could see this project come to completion. I would also like to thank Superintendent Maruszczak, Facility Director Chris George for their support in seeing this project through and most of all the people of Sandwich for their votes in support of this project.

The Special Education Parent Advisory Council will be hosting a virtual workshop next week presented by the Federation for Children with Special Needs: Transition Planning Thursday 2/8/24 from 6pm-8pm.

Principal Hill is conducting a research project through Northeastern University on building trusting relationships in the area of Special Education. She is looking for participants for interviews and focus groups. If you are the parent of a child on an IEP, please consider lending your voice to this work. Participation is completely voluntary. Interviews will take approximately 45-60 minutes and focus groups will be from 60-90 minutes in length. If interested, complete the attached form. The Sandwich Police Department’s Citizens Police Academy is now accepting applications for its upcoming class in February! The Citizens Police Academy is a thirteen-week program designed to familiarize our citizens with the structure and function of the Sandwich Police Department and the role of its officers within our community. Classes meet once a week in the evening from 6:30 to 9:30 PM. The program is open to Sandwich residents and business owners who are 18 or older. Please spread the word to anyone interested.

We're having a party and you and your friends are invited! Join us on Saturday, February 10th from noon to 2ish for our first open house. Meet some of our DJs, learn about what we're doing, and enjoy some snacks. And please feel free to share this invite with the music lovers in your life.
