TAP December 2024 Update
December 2024
Noticias from Mr. Macias π€
Dear Students, Families, and Staff,
As we approach the end of the year, we reflect on the hard work, perseverance, and growth we have experienced together in 2024. December brings exciting opportunities for celebration and a moment to acknowledge all the accomplishments weβve made.
Winter Graduation is a special milestone for many in our community, and we are thrilled to celebrate the students who have met their goals and earned their diplomas. Your determination and commitment to your education have paid off, and we are incredibly proud of you. We know that each step of your journey has required dedication, and reaching this milestone is a testament to your resilience. Congratulations on your success!
As we look back on this semester, it's also important to recognize the benchmark testing that has provided us with valuable insights into where we are as a school and as individuals. Whether youβre preparing for future assessments or reflecting on your progress, remember that these tests are just one way we measure your growth. You have made strides in so many waysβbe proud of your efforts and the progress you've made so far.
As we prepare to enter our two-week winter break, letβs take time to recharge and enjoy the holiday season. Whether youβre spending time with family, connecting with friends, or simply resting, we hope this break gives you the opportunity to relax, reflect, and reconnect with those who support you.
Looking ahead, we are excited for what the new year will bring, knowing that each of us has the potential to continue growing, learning, and achieving great things.
Wishing everyone a joyful and restful holiday season. We canβt wait to see you back, ready to take on new challenges and successes in 2025!
Warmly,
Mr. Macias

Astrobiologists from the University of Arizonaπβ¨πͺ
We had a wonderful visit from Astrobiologists at the University of Arizona thanks to Ms. Jones. They discussed their college careers and research around astrobiology and had activities for students to explore their own characteristics and strengths that could be used for a successful career in science!

Tip of the Month π‘
Scrolling through social media takes up a significant amount of time in the lives of our tweens and teens β whether we like it or not. While conversations with our kids about some of the ill effects of social media have never been more important. Kids may need to know about online privacy, digital footprint, privacy settings, and social media etiquette.
