Check Out the Grammar Feature for Parts of Speech
Immersive Reader supports grammar instruction to improve writing by highlighting nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs in text. Just click on the center menu button in the upper right hand corner of your screen. Students learning grammar can see how the various parts of speech appear in our reading and writing. Select 'Syllables' if you want to separate each word into its individual syllables to teach students about word building using individual parts of the word.
Select Language and Highlighted Text
Immersive Reader is available to readers of all ages and cultures. Simply select your language by clicking on the book in the upper right hand corner of your screen to have the text translated for you. It's just that easy! This feature also allows you to have one line highlighted at a time making it easier to track print. The Picture Dictionary feature turns certain words into pictures, making it easier for early readers to comprehend the text.
Choose Your Own Font and Background Color
Readers can choose their preferred font and background color to allow for easier visibility of words on the screen by clicking on the letter A in the menu in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Readers can adjust the size of the text on the screen, making it larger or smaller to fit their needs. This feature also allows you to select a male or female voice to read the text aloud.
