Car Numbering Plan for 2024
We will be printing numbered vinyl stickers to put on processional vehicles for the graduation event. Here are a few key points:
Date and Time:- Affixing of stickers will take place on Friday, May 24 during school hours (7:30 AM to 3:00 PM).
- These are the numbers that have been assigned and printed for our seniors.
- If available, come to Door #17 at the high school in your processional vehicle. Staff will affix the sticker to your windshield and verify the student name and assigned number.
- Alternatively, staff will be at the fairgrounds starting at 4:00 PM to place stickers on vehicles for those unable to come to the high school.
- Tests have shown minimal residue, which can be easily removed with rubbing alcohol or Goo-gone.
- Stickers should be on vehicles for less than 12 hours.
- Maximum of two graduates per vehicle.
- If there are two graduates in a vehicle, one sticker will be affixed at the high school, and the second one at the fairgrounds to accommodate any changes in plans.
- Vehicles do not need to line up in numerical order at the fairgrounds.
- Mr. Thompson will announce names, and WOGO will read information matching the number on each vehicle as it passes through the loop.
Cap, Gown and Tassel (Jostens Orders)
New Information: Jostens Representative will be at Chi-Hi on Tuesday, April 30th during TA and lunch hours for seniors to pick up their cap/gown and tassel.
After graduation, if graduates are willing, please donate your cap and/or gown (excluding the tassel), by dropping them off at the high school office during the summer months.
Beginning on Monday, June 3rd, the high school office will be open daily from 7:00 AM to 3:45 PM (Mon-Thurs). The office will be closed on Fridays.
Graduation Line-Up and Processional
4:00 PM - Entry to the Fairgrounds begins outside the EAST ENTRANCE (by the cattle barns/cemetery). As you enter the fairgrounds, you will be directed to where you need to park/line up. Valedictorians will enter through the main gate to line up. Early arrivals are asked to park on PAVED surfaces only. Thank you for NOT parking in the grassy areas outside the east entrance.
5:00 PM - There will be a staging area for graduates to have their photograph taken with Principal Goodman handing them their "diploma."
5:15 PM - WOGO Broadcast - starts at 5:15 PM. Be sure to tune your car radio to FM103.1 or WOGO.com to listen live prior to the start of the processional and as you make your way to the high school! Graduates and their parents/loved ones will want to hear what they say about each of our graduates as they drive through the loop.
6:00 PM - Procession Begins - cars will depart the fairgrounds.
8:45 PM to 12:15 AM - Seniors are invited to return to the fairgrounds for the after graduation party!

Guidelines Specific to Processional Vehicles
Use common sense and be safe
This is NOT a parade...it’s a processional
Maintain a speed of 10-20 mph
ONE vehicle per family
IF there's more than one graduate (maximum of TWO graduates allowed per vehicle), both numbers must be clearly displayed on the front windshield
You can SIT in the bed of a pick-up truck or SIT on a chair in the bed of the truck
Convertibles work well
Motorcycles are permissible
No trailers to transport extra people
Decorating is fine, but maintain good visibility and be sure the decorations are secure so they don’t litter the route
Local law enforcement will have assistance from outside police agencies along the route, including the Wisconsin State Patrol
Anyone violating the moving vehicle laws will be removed from the processional per the CFPD.
