Pioneer Valley Excellence in Teaching
Join us in congratulating Mrs. Suzanne Plescia as our 2025 Pioneer Valley Excellence in Teaching Award Recipient!
Mrs. Plescia goes above and beyond to build and maintain relationships with not only her students, but their families as well. If you talk to her about her students, she will undoubtedly shed tears of joy. Her hard work, kindness and unwavering commitment to her students have made a lasting impact on all those around her. We are beyond fortunate to have Mrs. Plescia as part of our learning community, and her students are lucky to learn from someone so caring and dedicated.

District Report Card
Every year, each public school and school district in Massachusetts receives a report card. The report card is designed to show how our schools are doing in different areas.
Why Should I Look at the Report Card?
The report card includes multiple measures of a school's performance, more than just MCAS scores. It represents a new way of looking at school performance by providing information on student achievement, teacher qualifications, student learning opportunities and more.
How Can the Information be Used?
Families can use the information to have meaningful conversations about what the school is doing well and where there is room for improvement. Community and education leaders can use the information to better understand how to support students and our school.
Where Do I Access the Report Cards?

Food Services
The Ware Public Schools Food Service Department provides a comfortable and encouraging environment in which nutritious and wholesome meals are offered. A well-balanced diet is essential for growing children and teenagers, so we design each meal to include all major food groups. Our meals provide the nutrients students need to focus on academics and to perform their best.
Ware Public Schools participates in the National School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program. As part of this program, all schools offer healthy meals every school day at NO COST to the students for the 2024-2025 school year.
Monthly menus can be found on our website at https://www.wareps.org/for_parents/food_services
