As part of the Osseo Area Schools operational plan and strategic direction, the district's communication team is working together with schools to help create improved communications between the district and its families and community members. Our new e-newsletters are more accessible and translatable, and they can be shared more easily in a variety of formats. We hope you enjoy catching up with the latest Osseo Middle School news in this new format.

Thank you to all who attended fall conferences. We hope you were able to connect with your scholar's teachers to hear about progress in each class and set goals to finish trimester one strong. Grades and student achievement will be documented in Schoology. ParentVue and StudentVue will only have mid and end of trimester grades. Please contact the main office at (763)391-8800 if you need a ParentVue access key.

The first trimester of school ends on Thursday, November 30th. Students do not have school on Friday. December 1st for Teacher Mark Reporting Day. The second trimester of school begins on Monday, December 4th. We appreciate your continued support!

• The school dance is an extension of the school day. Students are expected to follow the Oriole Way at all times during the dance. If a student is not following OMS expectations, parent/guardian will be notified to come pick up the student.

• Students will not be allowed to attend the dance if they have received PASS or OUT OF SCHOOL SUSPENSION or ADMINISTRATIVE DISMISSAL from October 30th through November 16th. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
• Please keep backpacks and drawstring bags at home. They will NOT be allowed in the dance. Purses or small items will be checked before entering the dance
• Students will not be allowed in the dance before 5 pm and must be picked up promptly at 6:30 pm.
• Concessions will be available for purchase cash only.

Friday, December 1: No School for Students, Mark Reporting Day for Teachers
