EAGLES HOME OPENER!!

The Eagles fly into Eagle Stadium for their home opener Friday night vs. Midlothian Heritage on Homecoming Night! Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

Argyle (0-1) will look to rebound following a season-opening 24-17 loss last week at Frisco Lone Star. Midlothian Heritage will also be searching for its first win after falling 38-3 last week at Stephenville.

Friday's forecast calls for a high of 88 degrees with a 0% chance of rain at 7 p.m. The temperature at kickoff is predicted at 85 degrees with 11 MPH wind from the north, northeast. By 10 p.m. the temperature will be 78 degrees. What a great weather night for the home opener!!

All fans attending Argyle Eagle football games will be required to use clear bags for personal belongings. A clear bag tote is allowed and may not exceed 12" x 6" x 12" in size. Bags must be clear plastic. Logo imprints on bags are allowed but are not to exceed 4.5" tall by 3.4" wide. One-gallon clear bags and small clutch bags are allowed.

Eagle Fans, please be aware of online scams and fake social media accounts that are currently appearing on Argyle pages. Please be cautious of links and fake Argyle Football accounts. Block the fake Argyle Eagles football account from your personal Facebook pages.

The primary live video for all home games is live-streamed on Argyle High School's official The Talon News YouTube account, which is free. If it looks suspicious, please avoid. There are also several fake UIL accounts so be sure to review the URL link before clicking.

Scammers are also printing schedules and asking businesses to participate. Please be very cautious and contact the Argyle ISD administration building or the athletics department to report these accounts at 940-464-7241.

Here's the schedule for the Future Eagles on Friday night...

6:00-6:30 PM- Get Future Eagle Shirts. Table set up by the home side north side end zone (near field house).

6:30 PM - Future Eagle Club will line up by the bronze eagle and cheer on the players as they head into the locker room. There will be racer flags lining the path.

6:35 PM - Future Eagles will be allowed to enter the field. If you are a Kinder parent we are going to have one parent accompany your Future Eagle onto the field. We will give you a paper wristband for field access. All 1st grade parents may stay close to the outer perimeter of the gate to collect your child. We are asking parents of 2nd-5th graders to go to their seats so that there is not a lot of traffic causing congestion and so you can see your kiddo run onto the field. *Please make sure your child knows where your seats are in the stadium.

6:45 PM - Future Eagles will run through the tunnel and back around to stand on the track to cheer on the football players

6:55 PM - Future Eagles will return to their seats.

7:00 PM - Argyle vs. Midlothian Heritage kickoff!

Get your Eagle gear for the new season at Atown Apparel! Atown's store is located at 308 FM 1830 Building #1C in Argyle.

The store is open Fridays from 12 to 4 p.m. and the Atown merchandise trailer will be available at all Eagle home football games.

Every Friday in Argyle ISD is Spirit Day -- so be sure to wear your favorite Argyle Eagle gear to school every Friday during the year!

Please remember there is limited parking around Eagle Stadium and we ask that fans carpool or arrive early if possible to ensure availability. Besides the main lot in front of Argyle Middle School, parking is available next to the Indoor Activity Center and next to the tennis courts on the north end of the campus.

Also, you can support the Boy Scouts Troop 771 by purchasing reserved parking on the south side of Eagle Stadium for Friday night football. CLICK HERE to fill out the form. Season parking passes are $125.

NO PARKING Along Harpole Road: DO NOT park or block private residences along Harpole Rd on Friday nights. Please find alternate locations to park and this area will be monitored.

All students on the north end of the stadium ("the hill") are required to follow guidelines. Argyle Middle School administrators will be monitoring this area, which includes the grassy areas next to the field house.

• NO FOOTBALLS are allowed in this area. Students are NOT allowed to play catch in this area as it poses a safety hazard for others.
  
  
• NO STUDENTS under 10 years old are allowed into the stadium without a parent or guardian.
  

All spectators are NOT allowed to re-enter once they pass through the gates at Eagle Stadium. Per stadium policy, no INs and OUTs are allowed. So be sure to get all the belongings needed for the game before leaving your vehicle.

Also, NO outside food or drink is allowed into the stadium. The ONLY exception is an unopened bottled water. All other beverages and water containers are NOT allowed.

There are two concessions stands open at Eagle Stadium on Friday nights and they provide great options for Eagle fans. The concession stands take CASH, CREDIT & APPLE PAY.

Here is this year's Homecoming Court...the AHS Homecoming King & Queen will be announced at halftime of Friday's game. The band will be performing during pre-game at 6:30 p.m.

Pep Rally Friday!

AHS will celebrate this week's Homecoming Game at 3:20 PM in the AHS Arena. Attendees can enjoy performances from AHS Cheerleaders, Majestics Drill Team, and Argyle HS Marching Band. Pep rallies are held on the Fridays before all home games. Parents are allowed to attend.

Argyle ISD is a fast-growth public school district in the Dallas-Fort Worth area with more than 6,000 students and 700 employees. The District includes seven campuses. Argyle ISD is a 13-time UIL Lone Star Cup Champion.
