Letter From the PTO
Dear Washington Parents and Guardians,
We hope this message finds you well and back in the groove of the school year! We would like to take this opportunity to share information about our Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) and the important role it plays in our school community.
Here are some of the key activities and initiatives organized by the PTO:
1. Fundraising: We organize events and campaigns to raise funds that support various school programs, materials, and extracurricular activities. These funds enhance the educational experience and provide resources that benefit all students.
2. Community Building: We host events throughout the year, such as family nights, educational workshops, and community service projects, to strengthen the bond between families, teachers, and the school.
3. Support for Teachers and Staff: The PTO provides assistance to teachers through classroom supplies, grants for special projects, and recognition events. We believe that supporting our educators directly impacts student success.
4. Volunteer Opportunities: The PTO offers numerous opportunities for parents to get involved. Whether it’s helping with events, participating in committees, or joining the board, your involvement is invaluable.
In order to achieve all this, we count on your involvement! Are you ready to be part of something special in our school community? We are looking for passionate individuals like you to bring fresh ideas and energy to our team. Whether you are a working parent, seasoned organizer, or new to the scene, your involvement is vital in making our events a success. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available for you. If you are interested in getting involved and would like more information please send us an email at Board@WashingtonPTO.com.
We also invite you to attend our upcoming PTO meeting on Wednesday, October 9th at 7:00pm held in Washington’s Learning Resource Center. You can learn more about our initiatives, share your ideas, and meet other parents and teachers. Together, we can create a positive and enriching environment for our children.
We are looking forward to having a great school year!
