Welcome to the June edition of the NBC Newsletter! Summertime is in full swing and with summer comes exciting events at New Beginnings Church for everyone. We are looking forward to all the great opportunities to fellowship with you. Acts 2:42 states, "And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and prayers." Join us at 29 Park Place Dr., Covington for 9am or 10:30am each Sunday, and hear how God will use New Beginnings Church to fulfill the purposes of His Word as we focus on discipleship and have Each one, Teach one!

The Summer Connect Group Semester is a 6 week session June 2nd - July 13th.

Our focus this year is DISCIPLESHIP.

Check out what is happening in the NBC Generations Ministry -

it's EVERYTHING from preschool to young adults in one place!

Starting on June 2nd, Connection Kids Elementary & Preteens will transition to a grade-level system for kids going into Kindergarten through 6th grade for the 2024-25 school year. All kids in Kindergarten through 6th grade will be in the NBC Annex Building. Remember, you can always check in either place!

So this Sunday we will be MOVING ON UP using the structure below:

• Kindergarten & 1st graders - YELLOW ZONE (drop-off and pick-up in Annex Room 10)
• 2nd & 3rd graders - GREEN ZONE (drop-off in Annex Room 9 & pick-up in Annex Room 11)
• 4th, 5th, & 6th graders - BLUE ZONE (drop-off in Annex Room 9 & pick-up in Annex Room 12)

Connection Kids Preschoolers will continue to move to the next class on their birthdays until Pre-Kindergarten! Locations for our Connection Kids Preschoolers are as follows:

• 6 weeks to 23 months - Main Building Room 8
• 2 year olds - Main Building Room 6
• 3 year olds - Main Building Room 5
• 4 year olds - Main Building Room 3

New Beginnings Church also financially supports many missionaries both locally and abroad. When you give tithes and offerings to New Beginnings you are part of this support. These missionaries also covet your prayers. New Beginnings also sponsors the Angel Tree Program for Christmas and assists Single Parents.

Vision

The vision of New Beginnings is to reach the Northshore community with the life giving message of Jesus Christ, and to teach those we reach to become true disciples, ultimately reproducing themselves. We say it like this....reach and teach we don't just want them to know, but to grow.

Purpose

The purpose of New Beginnings is to be a life giving beacon of hope, a sanctuary for the hopeless, and a haven for the downtrodden. As Jesus Himself said, "It's not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick". New Beginnings is a place for a fresh start.
